What’s new at Dodderhill Independent Girls? To start with, it’s the name – over the summer Dodderhill School has re-branded to come out unashamedly as a school for girls, with the key message to parents that Dodderhill girls are independent girls!

Join at any time
The school has been reorganised into three sections: Pre Prep (Reception to Year 4, Prep (Year 5 to 8) and Seniors (Year 9 to11).

The curriculum allows girls to flourish and encourages them to love physics and maths as much as creative subjects.

Many of the classrooms have had a makeover and the smallest girls have wonderful, bright and spacious classrooms with access to the outdoor play area and Forest School on site.

A new 3-Year GCSE Option
Join the school in Year 9 for the start of the new three-year GCSE courses. This is a good investment to secure the best set of GCSEs for your daughter and will set her on her future path, without limit.

Official – Dodderhill is an excellent school!
The inspectors, in March 2017, found an excellent school in all regards and a place where the girls learn to love learning. The girls describe it as their second home, achieve highly and have the gift of a happy and uncomplicated childhood.

Dare to be Different!
Dodderhill Independent Girls have the unusual privilege of belonging to a school where you don’t need to be “cool” or feel under pressure to conform.

It is the norm to want to study hard and be involved in a wide range of activities. Musical girls can also be sporty, artistic and dramatic.

Traditional values and manners co-exist with the best of modern technology and teaching to ensure that when girls leave the school they are outstanding young women, fully equipped for the challenges of the 21st century.

Please book a visit to fully appreciate the Dodderhill difference; you will be warmly welcomed. You will see a school that epitomises what an excellent education should look like.

The next Open Day is on January 11, 2018 and registrations for the entrance exam on January 25 are being taken now.

Scholarships are available to girls currently in Year 6, who sit the entrance exams. Bursaries, up to the full amount of the fees, are available.
