Nearly one hundred guests, including civic dignitaries and customers, joined staff at Spice Valley Balti in Bromsgrove to mark the restaurant’s 15th anniversary.
Guests were served a mixed starter platter before enjoying a hot buffet. Indoor fireworks illuminated an impressive fresh fruit, sponge and cream birthday cake for dessert.

Spice Valley Balti was opened in 2000 by three brothers from the Uddin family: Gias, Monir and Muhammad. Eight family members now work at the restaurant, reflecting its rising popularity with diners from across the region seeking authentic Indian cuisine.

Customers can choose from an extensive menu of classic and contemporary dishes, which includes more than sixty Balti options.

Bromsgrove resident Lola Powell (inset) attended Spice Valley Balti’s opening 15 years ago and was an invited guest at the anniversary party. “I’ve never had a bad meal and there is always a great atmosphere,” she said. “Staff are incredibly welcoming and provide helpful advice.”

Helen Jones, Deputy Civic Head at Bromsgrove District Council, adds: “It was a pleasure to join the celebration. Hard work and a passionate approach have helped the team develop a thriving local business.

With so many loyal customers, who return time and time again, they have clearly identified the recipe for success.”
