Olivia Withey

A 12-year-old Bromsgrove girl will be following in the footsteps of stars such as Billie Piper, Tamzin Outhwaite and Samantha Janus after winning a place at the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School.

Olivia Withey, pictured with the three cups she recently won for singing and acting at the Worcester Music Festival, auditioned for the specialist performing arts school in London and beat more than1,000 other children to claim her place, starting in September.

Olivia has been singing, acting and dancing since she was five years old. She has appeared on stage in many different shows and gained her first lead role when she was only nine, playing Annie at the Palace Theatre in Redditch.
