Burcot burglary plea

Posted on March 31 2012 at 9:10:58

Police are appealing for information about a burglary in Pikes Pool Lane, Burcot.

It is believed the house was broken into at around 5.30pm on Tuesday March 27 as an alarm was activated at the property at that time.

The property was entered via a downstairs window and various items of jewellery and a watch were stolen.

Detective Steve Pritchett from Bromsgrove CID said: “It is likely this burglary happened during daylight hours and I would urge anyone who was in the area and remembers hearing an alarm going off to contact us.

“I would also appeal for people to call us if they saw any suspicious people or vehicles on Pikes Pool Lane on the day concerned or in the days leading up to the burglary.”

Anyone with information about this incident can call DC Pritchett on 0300 333 3000, quoting 642S 270312 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
