Cherry Hill burglary plea

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after electrical items were stolen during a daytime burglary in Barnt Green.

It happened between 10.10am and 1.10pm on June 10 in Cherry Hill Road.

Thieves smashed patio doors at the rear of the house causing about £500 worth of damage. They ransacked the house and stole a large Samsung TV, an Apple iPod, a Blu-ray player, a wallet containing cash and bank cards and some keys.

Investigating officer, DC Tony Flannagan from Bromsgrove CID said: “We are eager to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area yesterday, particularly any vehicles parked in unusual circumstances.”

Witnesses or anyone with information about the burglary should contact Det Con Flannagan as soon as possible on 101, quoting incident 281-S-100613, or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
