Winners' pics

Village under-11s showed they love their mums by sending in some lovely pictures for our Mother’s Day photography competition.

And the judges have chosen joint winners – sister and brother Harriet and Nicholas Tovey, of Barnt Green.

Nine-year-old Harriet sent in the photos (above) and wrote: “My name is Harriet and my brother is Nicholas. We have sent you some of the photos we took on Mother’s Day.

“My brother took the one of me giving my Mum a hug and I took the one of Nicholas and Mum. Our Mum was very pleased with our cards.”

Well done to Harriet and six-year-old Nicholas. They’ve won a Fuji FinePix A350 5.2 megapixel digital camera for their school, St Andrews, courtesy of Michael Stuart Photography of Bromsgrove.

They also win a sitting for a family portrait with Michael Stuart Photography and this portrait will be beautifully framed by Picture This and the Art Café, of Barnt Green.

The judges also decided to award a special runner-up prize to seven-year-old Lewis Binns, of Bromsgrove, who entered a picture of a heart made from lit candles (right).

His mum said: “I think it is lovely!”

Lewis will receive a book on digital photography as his prize.
