Council’s signage pledge

Posted on December 31 2017 at 11:15:49

Lickey and Blackwell parish councillors have agreed to make budgetary provision for extra signage on Dale Hill if there is inadequate funding from the county council.

They also declared their support for improving safety on the proposed diversion from the closed railway crossing, including a new footpath along Blackwell Road, new signage warning of pedestrians and possible reduction in the speed limit.

Meanwhile, signs warning of horse riders in the road ahead are to be installed at each end of Rowney Green after a request by a parish councillor.
