Alvechurch’s Knit & Natter group raised £1,050 to split between three charities through sales of their knitted goods and a raffle with prizes donated by villagers.

Cynthia Lawton (second right) presented cheques to Penny Church on behalf of Brain Tumour Research; Sarah James, manager of The Lounge; and Anita Sharma-James, chair of the Worcestershire branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
