Alvechurch FC’s under-8s (Year 3) football teams are hoping to build on the success of an impressive season by bolstering their squads.

Two teams have been playing five-a-side matches in the Central Warwickshire Youth Football League.

Both Alvechurch Athletic U8s and Alvechurch United U8s reached the final of the Spring Cup, while Alvechurch Athletic U8s also managed to reach the final of the Winter Cup.

Both teams are now looking to expand their squads as next season will see the introduction of seven-a-side matches. If your child is a keen footballer and would like to join a friendly team in the local area, the club would love to hear from you.
Training takes place once a week on Monday evenings and matches are on Sundays. All coaches have FA Level 1 coaching badges and are CRB-checked.

The team is part of the Alvechurch FC Youth section, which is FA Charter Standard.

An open training session will be held at 2pm on Saturday June 10 on the playing fields behind Rowney Green Village Hall (B48 7QP).
