On March 21 1953, newlyweds June and Trevor Collett posed in front of a privet arch in the garden of the Red Lion pub, Alvechurch, after their marriage at St Laurence Church.

Sixty years to the day later, the diamond couple, who have lived in the same house in Callow Hill Road ever since, enjoyed lunch with family back at their wedding reception venue – and were persuaded out into the cold to repeat the pose in the same spot in the garden.
