Flasher shock for beauty customers

Posted on February 02 2011 at 10:58:09

Police are appealing for information after a man went into four Bromsgrove beauty salons and indecently exposed himself.

The man went into the salons in the town centre between lunchtime and early afternoon on January 28, and made an inquiry, at which point he exposed himself.

He is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build, in his late 20s to early 30s, clean shaven, with short brown hair. He wore navy trousers and black shoes and it is believed he had access to several jackets – one navy and red and the other red - bearing the names of energy companies, which he wore in some of the offences. However in one offence he was wearing a red jumper with the logo SPL on the front left hand side. He was possibly driving a dirty green or blue Volkswagen Golf.

PC Spike Jenkins of West Mercia Police said: “These incidents happened in the same area in a short period of time, so we are confident it is the same man. We have a good description of him, so we hope someone will recognise him.”

Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact PC Jenkins on 0300 333 3000 quoting incident 465-s-280111 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
