Fun at the Fair

The torch relay

Glorious weather and a host of attractions helped to make this a record-breaking year for Tardebigge Fair & Show.

An estimated 2,500 people flocked to the popular annual event held in and around St Bartholomew’s Church, raising an incredible £7,700.

The Fair was opened by Bromsgrove teenager Eleanor Smallwood, with the torch she had carried in the official Olympic Torch Relay. She took the torch for a run around the church grounds accompanied by children from Tardebigge School.

As well as the produce show, there was fun for all the family – stalls, traditional games, dance displays, refreshments and an exhibition of classic vehicles including motorcycles from the Royal Enfield Owners’ Club.
