Louisa models daywear from Joolz of Barnt Green

It was another fantastic night of fun and fundraising when The Village hosted its third Charity Fashion Evening in conjunction with Fresh @Burcot Garden Centre.

With a record number of tickets sold and generous donations from local businesses, the event raised more than £2,000 for the Midland Air Ambulance.

Local poet Spoz took the stage once again with his tongue-in-cheek commentary on the catwalk shows, which this year included some new faces: incredibly cute tots modelling clothes and accessories from Little Outdoor Kids, and a quartet of local ladies showcasing luxurious lingerie, nightwear and swimwear from Temptations.

The shows from regulars Joolz, Continental Collections and Paws Here/It’s A Gift treated ticket-holders to chic daywear (as modelled by Louisa, pictured here), glam occasionwear and… dogs in handbags!

Inside Out Events provided sound and lighting, while the models’ hair was expertly styled by @15 of Alvechurch.

Further attractions included gift stalls, beauty demonstrations, music from saxophonist Rod Arnold, delicious food from Spice Trade and Meadow Farm Butchers, fine wine from Vinalia, and plenty of chances to win prizes in the raffle and lucky ticket draw.
