The 2013 Bromsgrove Lecture, a premier event in The Bromsgrove Society’s year, was held on the evening of April 9 and proved to be an outstanding success.

More than 300 people attended the lecture at Routh Hall, Bromsgrove School, which was given by Sarah Arrowsmith, the Education Officer for Hereford Cathedral.

The lecture was entitled Mysteries of The Mappa Mundi. The map, drawn in the 13th century, is housed at Hereford Cathedral and Sarah’s expert knowledge ensured that the audience was extremely attentive.

Next year’s lecture has already been arranged for April 15, 2014, the subject being Chatsworth House and Gardens.
