Nine new homes

Planners are being asked to approve nine new homes on a brownfield site in the Alvechurch Green Belt.

They would be built on part of the former brickworks site fronting the canal, with access from Scarfield Hill.

A number of comments have so far been received from residents, many focusing on problems of access, with others feeling that a housing development by the canal would be more attractive than the current use.
