Olivia Withey

Talented Marlbrook youngster Olivia Withey brought home a bumper haul of prizes from the Worcester Competitive Arts Festival.

13-year-old Olivia, who is a full-time student at the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School in London, still enjoys entering performance festivals in her home area.

As well as picking up four cups for drama and one for singing, she was invited to perform one of her winning Shakespeare pieces at the Winners’ Concert – and was awarded the overall Drama Award for High Achievement by Worcester Arts Council.

The prize was presented by Paul Farrer, one of the UK’s highest profile media composers, and part of the prize will see Olivia working with the acclaimed Middle Ground Theatre Company and its director Michael Lunney.
