Produce galore at village show

Posted on July 31 2017 at 11:04:42

Finstall’s Annual Village Show takes place on Sat Sept 2 at the village hall from 1pm, with classes for vegetables, fruit, baking (including jams and chutneys), floral arrangements, crafts, photography and art.

Trophies, vouchers and prize money to be won, down to 3rd place. There are special classes for children, who can win a trophy to be kept for one year.

There will also be stalls, teas, a tombola and raffle, plus outside games (weather permitting) and an auction of the produce at the end of the show.

If anyone has surplus produce that could be included in the auction, the organisers would be pleased to take this off their hands!

Show schedules will be distributed around village homes shortly before the show, but if anyone else would like one please call Rosemary on 07788 178813.

All the funds raised go towards the improvement and upkeep of the hall, which is used by lots of different groups and also available to hire for parties at weekends.
