Posted on February 03 2011 at 4:17:05

Police have arrested three men on suspicion of stealing a quad bike after being alerted to suspicious activity at farms in the Tardebigge area.

Officers received a report at around noon yesterday that three men in a van had been seen acting suspiciously in the vicinity of Land Rover vehicles at two farms.

Shortly before 2pm officers stopped a van on the Worcester Road in Hagley and arrested three men on suspicion of theft after seizing a blue quad bike which is suspected to have been stolen.

The men, who are all from the Kingswinford area, were questioned at Kidderminster Police Station and later released on bail until March 9 pending further inquiries.

Police now want to hear from anyone in the area who may have had a quad bike stolen or knows who the owner might be. Anyone with information should contact DC Brian Mortelmans at Bromsgrove Police Station on 0300 333 3000, quoting incident reference 238-S-020211, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police are also urging people to contact them immediately if they see similar suspicious activity near their premises.
