Rhinos raring to go

Posted on August 31 2017 at 1:42:58

Kings Norton Rhinos Rugby Club are raring to get into the new season, with preparations well underway throughout the Hopwood Park club on Ash Lane, Hopwood.

Over the summer, there’s been plenty of activity to improve the club’s facilities. Pride of place goes to the newly-refurbished female toilets, and along with further investment in the clubhouse and on pitch upkeep, the club is sure that visitors and players will be impressed at the improvements for the new season.

Kings Norton Rhinos caters for boys and girls with active teams from under six to under 16. The club runs mixed tag rugby teams up until under-eight level.

Older male age groups play contact rugby and there is a fast-growing girls’ tag section who play in the competitive West Midlands tag league.

Do you want to join a friendly club keen to develop you as a player, whether you are new to rugby or have played before? New season training begins on Sunday September 3 at 10am, with free “come-and-try-it”
sessions for new starters.
