Riders in the rain

Charity riders

Although the weather was a bit dodgy, some 60 cyclists turned out for the 17th annual charity cycle ride along the canal from Withybed Green in Alvechurch to Digliss Basin in Worcester.

The ride was in aid of Acorns Children’s Hospice as usual, and almost £2,000 has been raised so far – including donations from pub and cafe stops along the route!

Organiser Pete Joannides (pictured above, far left) would like to thank Ryan’s Removals for providing a truck to bring the bikes home.
