The signs are looking good for an Alvechurch youth team thanks to a kit sponsorship deal with major Birmingham firm Hollywood Monster.

Alvechurch U8s United, a newly formed team, are all dressed for success in their Macron teamwear which proudly sports the new branding of the signage company.

The squad of eight players, coached by dads James Iles, Ashley Gore and Paul Shakespeare, are hoping the deal will have a monster impact on their first season as part of the recently expanded youth section of Alvechurch FC.

Manager James Iles said: “We really appreciate this kind of investment in a community sports team, which truly benefits the development of grassroots football.”

Andrew McKenzie, director at Hollywood Monster, said the company was delighted to support the team as part of its corporate social responsibility:

“It’s not all about producing signage and graphics at Hollywood Monster; we also like to make a difference in the local community. We’re proud of our roots and want to support local causes as much as possible.”
