VACANCY: Clerk at Beoley Parish Council

Beoley Parish Council seeks an experienced, self-motivated individual to join as Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer.

You will be responsible for day-to-day running of the parish council, keeping up to date financial records, attending parish council meetings, and most of the Council’s administration.

The successful applicant will be required to work from home, based on 15 to 20 hours per month, and attend one scheduled Parish Council meetings per month. Attendance at other committee meetings is desirable but voluntary.

There will be a handover period with the current Clerk who is retiring. It would be advantageous to have previous parish council and/ or public sector experience, but specific training will be available.

A Clean driving licence and own car are essential.

Remuneration will be pro-rata in accordance with the NJC pay scales, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
