In Full . . .

Thanks after crash

Myself and my three children were involved in quite a nasty car accident on Scarfield Hill, Alvechurch.

I got caught on some ice and the car span and then rolled in the air, landing on its roof and finally resting on its side.

A number of people came to our aid – I have no idea who they were but they helped to get my children out of the car and held one of the car doors open above my head until the emergency services arrived.

A wonderful woman named Jo even jumped into the car to check that I and my daughter, who was trapped in the front passenger seat, were OK; she is a nurse and she was an amazing support to me during one of the worst mornings of my life.

I just want to say thank you to all the people who helped me and my children, and to let them know that we were all discharged from hospital yesterday afternoon – we are all fine, just a bit shaken up and achy.

I will never forget their kindness.
