Further to the photo and article in your last issue of the muntjac deer spotted by Gill Clayton: I have, in the last few months, seen deer on two separate occasions  in the Roberts Corner area of Alvechurch.

Grave complaint justified

The person complaining about overgrown graves had every right, when it is very plain to see the main churchyard and surroundings never miss their cuts and shaves despite weather conditions; this cannot be denied.

For the record, in June 2001 and again in May 2003, the electorate of Lickey End  were given the choice of voting “pro” or “anti”.
