Would it be too much to ask that drivers stop blocking the access of residents of The Square in Alvechurch? This is provided by a drive adjacent to parking in front of the Co-op.

2015 has been quite a year around here; peering back from the vantage point of December, it looks like a turning point ... a time when the faces of many of our villages changed forever.

I am surprised that the Barnt Green Parish Council feel they need to sit on the fence (The Village, December 2015) with regard to the selfish parking that blights our village.

Have you ever seen the film Hot Fuzz? It’s very funny. It’s about a policeman who gets sent to a little rural town and comes up against the narrow-minded preservationist attitudes of the local community.
