Former BBC cameraman John Williams will give an illustrated talk at The Ark, St Laurence Church, Alvechurch on Friday November 3.
In aid of the church’s window appeal, the talk is entitled Life Through A Lens and is based on John’s self-published memoirs, Shoot First: No Ordinary Life.
It will include tales from the iconic Pebble Mill studios and behind-the-scenes glimpse into John’s 30-year career making programmes at home and abroad.
The talk begins at 7.30pm, and admission is £4 to include tea and biscuits. No need to buy tickets in advance; just pay on the door.
