A Cofton Hackett couple have taken inspiration from their own nuptials to launch a new business bringing sweet treats to weddings and other celebrations.

Simon and Abbie Roberts have founded The Little Treat Boutique, which sees them serving delicious ice cream from a traditional trike as well as setting up tables of pick ‘n’ mix sweets.
“When we got married last year we served ice cream and created our own sweet table, and it was a big hit – so we decided to go into business!” says Simon.

“We love getting out and meeting new people, and it’s such a nice feeling to know we’ve made someone’s day special.”

Operating across Worcestershire, Warwickshire and the West Midlands, Simon and Abbie are able to customise their service to match the colour scheme or style of your event.

The ice cream trike comes complete with professional uniformed serving staff, your four chosen flavours of premium ice cream or sorbet, sugar cones and ice cream cups.

And it’s not just for summer events – gazebos and umbrellas are supplied in inclement weather!

The range of tempting flavours – all made by Marshfield Farm in the West Country – includes everything from classic Rum & Raisin and Mint Choc Chip to new creations like Heavenly Honeycomb, Raspberry Ripple Pavlova and Toffee Fudge Fiasco.

There are also Fresh Lemon and Champagne sorbets.

The customised sweet tables include jars, bags, scoops and decorations, and can be matched to your colour scheme.

The extensive menu of sweets features all the childhood favourites like Rosie Apples, Black Jacks, Flying Saucers and Love Hearts.
