Staff at Little Heath Garden Centre in Lickey End have organised a special spring event in support of people affected by cancer.

Customers of the well-loved garden centre are invited along to enjoy afternoon tea with a twist on Thursday May 8, when Little Heath’s cosy restaurant and tea rooms will display the spring/summer clothing range from Tigi and Saloos.

Ticket holders can enjoy cream teas and chat while models from Macmillan Cancer Support show off the latest trends.

The restaurant team are excited about bringing such a fun and feel-good event to the store, welcoming regular customers and new faces too.

All the money raised will be donated to help Macmillan provide practical, medical, financial and emotional support for people affected by cancer.

Liz Chambers, Marketing Manager for Little Heath, said, “We wanted to be part of this fundraising event because we all know someone living with cancer or have been affected personally and we wanted to help.

“This campaign will help fund Macmillan Cancer Support’s cancer care services, which include information and counselling centres, specialist medical staff and grants for cancer sufferers facing financial difficulty.”

Tickets are available from the restaurant at Little Heath Garden Centre at a cost of £6.50 each, or you can book a table of four for £20.

If you need any further information please contact Liz on 01527 878174.

Anyone who has questions about cancer can call the Macmillan Support Line free on 0808 808 0000, Monday to Friday, 9am-8pm or visit http://www.macmillan.org.uk
