Get your garden ready for winter!
Kate Dunkley is a Pershore College-trained, fully insured garden designer based in Bromsgrove.
She works predominantly in North Worcs and South Birmingham, and can often be seen with a van full of plants in the Barnt Green/Alvechurch area creating beautiful gardens and planting schemes for her discerning clients.
“We have had an odd summer,” she says, “with plenty of warm, breezy and dry days without the sunshine and blue skies that we long for. Plants have needed extra love and attention (and water!) to thrive.
“Late summer and autumn are a great time for planting, as the plants have time to settle in before the winter and are ready to romp away in the spring, having a great head start.”
Late autumn is then the time to put your garden to bed, which is another service that Kate offers.
