Some fascinating pictures of Hopwood Rovers FC from the 1920s have been sent in by Mrs Pauline Elcock, of Rubery.
Pauline’s father, Albert Yates, is at the centre of the front row above.
If any other readers have old photos of people and places of this area, let us know. Everyone loves to see them – and if they are published, it’s a way of preserving them for posterity.
