Alvechurch Baptist Church is opening its doors on the mornings of December 9 and 16 to anyone who wants to see it as it is before it undergoes a £160,000 building project.
The church, celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2012, will see the removal of its pews, wainscoting and parquet floor and rebuilding of the old vestry.
The pitch-pine pews and parquet floor blocks are going on sale to the public to raise funds. Anyone interested can call Paul Birch on 445 5437 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
