Pink night at The Vic

Two Barnt Green businesses came together for a charity night in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Held at the Victoria Inn and organised by The Michelle Griffin Academy, the “Pink Night” raised £500 for the cause.

Michelle Griffin compered the evening alongside Annette Gillard from Barnt Green’s Eye Opticians, while entertainment was provided by two talented local singers – Hannah Jones accompanied by Sam Brookes on the guitar, followed by newly-signed Laura Woodall who also played acoustic guitar.

Many other local businesses got involved by donating items for the raffle and auction, and the team from Michelle Griffin Academy supported the event by selling pink ribbons and pink cakes as well as collecting donations.
