Speeding drivers beware
Posted on October 18 2011 at 9:03:19 0 comments

Police have launched a crackdown on speeding through our villages – a constant complaint at PACT meetings across the area.
Local policing officer PC Simon Albutt said he and other officers have been out in Cofton Hackett, Barnt Green and Alvechurch using laser speed guns.
“Speeding has been identified by residents as a priority for them. We have and will continue to enforce speed limits in order to help reduce the number of collisions, and make our roads and communities safer in the process,” said PC Albutt.
Ten motorists were caught on one road – one driving at 55mph in a 30mph zone.
