Success for Fair and Festival

Sunny weather and a host of attractions ensured a great success for two local events.

The ever-popular Tardebigge Fair & Show raised more than £5,000. Held in and around St Bartholomew’s church, the event featured a display of classic vehicles, Appalachian dancing demonstrations, a gnome-hunt for kids, and plenty of locally-made Tardebigge Cider and Bird’s Bitter – as well as the usual produce show, stalls and traditional games.

Meanwhile, the Primrose Hospice Festival, held in Bromsgrove on the same weekend, enjoyed a huge turnout and raised awareness as well as funds. Events included a craft fair, a fashion show, a 1940s dance and a golf day.
