Village shops urged to join litter effort

Shops in the centre of Alvechurch have been urged to encourage their customers not to drop litter – and to clean up after them if they do.

A letter sent jointly by Alvechurch Parish Council, Alvechurch Village Society and Alvechurch PACT recognises the contribution the shops make to village life and asks them to “keep the immediate area of your premises free from litter”.
