An outstanding result

As it has been stated in previous letters in this magazine, parents with young children in Alvechurch and surrounding areas should be encouraged to view the Ofsted reports of the childcare provision available.

As the private provider at the new Crown Meadow Nursery we have not until now been able to offer an Ofsted report as these are usually done within the first six months of opening.

Now we are very pleased to announce that our inspection was carried out recently and we have achieved the highest grade possible of Outstanding. The QEST nursery only opened in September so this is in an incredible achievement in such a short time.

Working closely with the school staff team we have been able to provide a wonderful environment for the children in our care. Our provision includes a purpose-built nursery with everything at child height, all of the equipment is new and of the highest quality, our outside area is huge and includes a forest school.

The inspection covered all areas of QEST as we provide complete wrap-around care on the new school site from 7.45am to 6pm including the Nursery, Crown Meadow First School and Alvechurch Middle School.

Our report is so new it is not yet available to view online but we would urge parents with young children looking at all the local provision available to get in touch with us and make an appointment to view our nursery and out-of-school clubs. We would be very pleased to show you our outstanding facility.
