It isn’t all so rosy

I was reading Sarah Rees`s article titled “Oakalls’ Park-Land” (The Village, September 2011) which was extremely glowing in regards to this park. I was wondering if she visited this same park after dark?

I presume not because if she had she would have seen a very different side to it.

My friend lives next to this park and the police have been called on numerous occasions to restore order and lessen the volume of noise. There have also been complaints of vandalism.

My point being that all is not rosy especially for those who live around this area.
