Sir – What a pity that Alvechurch residents so keen to be linked to Bromsgrove do not shop there.

A survey carried out (four years ago) by the Bromsgrove Older People’s Forum, found that out of the 2,800 over-60 car parking permit holders only one had an Alvechurch post code.
