Animals R Magic

General Events

Everyone and his or her dog are welcome to Jinney Ring Craft Centre, Hanbury on Sunday July 16 for “Animals R Magic”, a charity fun day and dog show held in aid of The Cinnamon Trust and local animal charities.

Bring your favourite four-legged friend to the fun dog show to find our local “best biscuit catcher”, “best rescue” and “waggiest tail”.  There is also the chance for younger visitors to show off their skills in the “best junior handler class”.

Entries for all dog show classes will be taken on the day.

Get up close and personal with some unusual animals including snakes, creepy crawlies and adorable furries.

Meet animal guests including Jasper the pony, Charlie the search dog and “Peeler”, the police mascot who will be patrolling the grounds on the day.

There will be demonstrations of agility, obedience and canicross (cross country running with dogs) and a have-a-go scurry throughout the day.

Talk to the experts on the animal charity stands and find out how voluntary organisations are helping all sorts of animals in and around Worcestershire.

Bring your loose change to try your luck at their raffles, tombolas and competitions to support the great work they do.

Browse the stands of local businesses to stock up on animal-themed crafts and goodies.  To keep you going, there will be a range of delicious refreshments available throughout the day.

Profits from admission and the dog show will support the Worcestershire work of The Cinnamon Trust (, the national charity for elderly and terminally ill people and their pets.

To find out more about their work, visit the volunteers on The Cinnamon Trust stand.

Animals R Magic is open from 11am until 5pm, admission is £2 for adults and £1 for children.
