Forget doing the Double – a Barnt Green football team has won a record FIVE trophies this season.

Victoria Barnt Green FC, who play in the Bromsgrove & District Football League Premier Division, managed the rare feat of completing a “Quintuple”, winning every trophy available to them this season.

As well as being crowned League champions, “The Vic” also fought off all opposition in four Cup competitions, notching up the LMS Shield, Bromsgrove Charity Cup, WA Harris Memorial Cup and the Divisional Premier Cup.

“This is a marvellous achievement for the club – we brought in a few new players this season and have gone from strength to strength,” says club secretary Alan Vaughan.

“We now have the stern test of defending every trophy in the 2013/14 season.”
