Unveiling

A village centre bus shelter has been brightened up thanks to the efforts of youngsters from the local youth project.

The shelter in front of The Red Lion pub in Alvechurch has in the past suffered from misuse, but councillors hope the work by children from The Lounge, who designed and painted three panels depicting village scenes and themes, will deter any vandalism.

The materials were paid for by Alvechurch Parish Council using “106 money” from housing developers.
