Shotgun stolen in £4,000 Tardebigge raid

Thieves made off with cash and possessions worth more than £4,000 - including a £1,200 shotgun - from a house in Tardebigge.

The burglary took place between 3pm and 4pm on Friday, 7th January.

Items stolen included a 42-inch Samsung television worth £600, a Samsung DVD player worth £100, an X Box 360 console worth £390, X Box games worth £250, a Technika 24-inch TV worth £150, a Winchester shotgun worth £1200, £1,000 in cash and various items of costume jewellery worth £400 including a bracelet, bangles, necklace and earrings. Damage of £100 was caused to an internal door.

Four men were seen in a dark coloured, new-looking Range Rover, which drove off in the direction of Bromsgrove and Redditch.

The driver was white, 5ft 10ins tall, in his late teens, with short dark hair, thin faced, clean shaven and with a very pale complexion. He was wearing dark clothing and had a Birmingham accent.

The front seat passenger was black, and one of the other occupants was Asian. The ethnicity of the fourth man is not known.
